Here's PC World's 20 Most Innovative Products of the Year. Interesting to see how the world and tech are moving along. From this we see how people are integrating technology into their lives to make it better and more efficient. It's also a way to figure out where the next big $$ can be made.

3D metal printing

I've worked with stainless steel in the machine shop, and it isn't exactly the easiest metal to drill or lathe. So to be able to print it, wow. Another interesting company is Shapeways. Here's a video (not metal printing in this case though).
