I've started playing football (or soccer in America) recently. It's a heckuva lot of fun. Running around kicking the ball. I joined an intramural team, and we had a game last night. Although we lost, I haven't felt so excited about a team sport in such a long time. I'm still playing tennis of course, but that's essentially a one on one game. I'll try to get some pics of my gear up, shoes, shin guard...

3D metal printing

I've worked with stainless steel in the machine shop, and it isn't exactly the easiest metal to drill or lathe. So to be able to print it, wow. Another interesting company is Shapeways. Here's a video (not metal printing in this case though).
